I knew Keiichi Tanaami about 20 years ago. I came across Tanaami's work, not Tanaami himself.

The place I knew him was a gallery in Aoyama, Tokyo. I felt a sense of nostalgia in Tanaami's work. At that time, I bought a collection of Tanaami's works.

Twenty years later, I encountered Tanaami's work again at an art museum in Roppongi, Tokyo.

For the past 20 years, I haven't had a chance to see Tanaami's work. However, during that time, my sensitivity towards Tanaami's works matured.
